Well, we're into the last week of the semester as well as the last week of my internship here. This has for sure been a hard time being away but the Lord has blessed it for sure! I've been busy busy with just the everyday bible college things as well as spending time with friends before going our separate ways. On Sunday afternoon my friend Hannah threw me a little bridal shower with all the girls I've gotten close with during my time here. We had a wonderful afternoon and I was so happy to have all of them in one place and for us to just spend time together. The girls all put some of their favorite recipes and put an absolutely adorable little cookbook together for me! It's amazing and I can't wait to make everything! :)
Thank you, Hannah, it was beautiful! :)
I have either a coffee or breakfast appointment with some wonderful girls everyday this week, I'm glad that I'm able to have a nice time of just chatting with them over a cup of coffee before I leave. I'm definitely thankful that the Lord has given me such great friends in the girls here!
Final dorm cleaning and packing comes on Thursday, graduation on Friday, I do an airport run with my dorm girls on Saturday morning, and I leave to come home on Sunday morning! I'm super excited.... :)
If you think of it, please pray that the Lord expands my time this week, keeps me free from stress, and blesses my last week in Germany.
Can't wait to be home for Christmas and to finish planning our wedding...139 days to go! :)

The Last Month
It's been almost a month since I've last posted and I'm not even sure how that happened...it obviously tends to get crazy right in the middle of the semester and I sometimes just don't know what to do with myself! For all of you who prayed for our Outreach Week...Thank you! It went so well and the Lord really blessed it; we got to do so much stuff for the church and conference center and they're socks were totally blessed off. We cleaned hundreds of windows at the castle and church, cleaned carpets, prepared rooms for an upcoming conference, dug a big trench, baby-sat, went street witnessing one day, encouraged believers from a US military base in Italy who were in Austria for a few days, went to a christian youth night, and spent time with the people there. The Lord's hand was in all of it. This was the second "be flexible" outreach trip I've been on and I think I'm starting to get the picture! "A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps." (Proverbs 16:9) All the teams made it back safely and everyone came back with stories of how God was faithful and blessed their trips.
The week after Outreach was our Open Week where people can come and stay at the school, visit, and sit in on classes to see if they would like to become a student here. It was a little crazy having this back to back with Outreach Week, but again, the Lord blessed it despite how exhausted we all were.
Lately, I've just been busy with the things that have been given me to do as well as other little things that happen to end up on my plate. My good friend Jessie is 7 months pregnant and lives right under me, so I'm her official "pregnant chauffeur" since it's getting hard for her to walk between our house and the school. We have a lot of fun together...I enjoy it. :)
On Saturday I get to go to my friend's Anja & Janos' wedding! I feel so blessed to be able to come to this...they've been great friends to me ever since I first came here two years ago & I'm just so happy I get to be here for this. I realized that I had nothing to wear to this blessed event, so I went to H&M today and went dress hunting, and actually came out with one! It's super cute and I'm excited to wear it....for the rest of my life. :)
I'll get pictures up online from Outreach soon, and then the wedding of course. :)
Thank you for you prayers, God bless you,
-veronica

The Joy of the Lord is My Strength
This has been a very hard semester to be gone. I'm really tired of being away, I'm ready to be home, to be with my fiance', to be with my family, to just be home. This is my theme song for the semester and I just wanted to share it with you. I couldn't find a good audio clip, but here's the lyrics:
Hear my heart Lord, as I cry out to You
Hear my prayer Lord, and carry me through
In Your mercy, and the promise You made
Be my strength Lord, when strength fades away'
When I am weak, Your strength is complete
It's perfect completely all I need
Sufficient for me, Your grace and Your peace,
Is perfect, completely all I need, You're all that I need
In my weakness, I'm finding Your strength
In my sorrow, a gentle embrace
Through the seasons, of laughter or pain
You are listening, as I'm calling Your name
When I am weak, I bow my knees, For when I am weak, You are strong
I hope this encourages you. The Lord is sufficient for all that we need.
THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH.
Hear my heart Lord, as I cry out to You
Hear my prayer Lord, and carry me through
In Your mercy, and the promise You made
Be my strength Lord, when strength fades away'
When I am weak, Your strength is complete
It's perfect completely all I need

I hope this encourages you. The Lord is sufficient for all that we need.

My Apartment
I just posted a link on the left side of the page to a photo album of pictures of my apartment! I share it with 4 wonderful girls; Sarah and Vanessa are from California, Nichole is from New Jersey, and Susanne is from Germany! I'm enjoying not living at the Villa, it was getting too much for me last semester being around so many people all the time. We have a lot of space with just the 5 of us living there and enjoy it very much. :)

When My Heart is Overwhelmed
A good friend of mine sent me this message my Britt Merick, a pastor in California. His 5 year old daughter has cancer and just had a tumor removed from her abdomen the size of a nerf football. He gave this message titled "when my heart is overwhelmed". If you have a spare 40 minutes, I encourage you to watch it! It's posted on the home page of his church:
